Job Title: PV Engineer

Location: Beijing

Job Description:　
The successful candidate will be part of Product Verification team for Spirent's industry leading wireless device test systems. This includes the integration of hardware and software. As a member of our PV team, the candidate will play a key role in test design and development, test framework and test case automation development, and test execution. The candidate will work closely with software development team, customer support team and product managers to help ship products with high quality. In addition, you will be responsible for managing activities to meet delivery dates, reporting accurate and complete test progress and also contribute to the process improvements.

Major Responsibilities:
1. Regression test or validate an LTE emulator software build before it is released.
2. Develop detailed System Level DVT plan for both existing and new features during implementation phase.
3. Develop automated test scripts whenever possible to improve the effectiveness of the integration and test process.
4. Work closely with the product development team to reproduce issues, and support the development team to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of issues.
5. Analyze new requirements for estimation of effort for PV responsibilities that will be applied to the master program schedule.
6. Analyze customer issues and improve the test coverage and test cases design.


Qualifications:
Education:　BSEE/BSCE required. MSEE/MSCE highly desired.
Experience: Working experience and/or internship in wireless communication:
Minimal 3 years for Bachelor degree
Minimal 1 year for Master degree.

Skills:
- The successful candidate MUST HAVE following skills:
- Strong knowledge of LTE air-interface protocols. Ability to read and understand the 3GPP Spec.
- Familiar with RRC, NAS and Mobility
- Familiar with LTE Layer 2 or Layer 1
- Familiar with application on LTE, such as IMS service, VoLTE.
- Good verbal and written English.
- Experience with integration and verification testing of wireless software is highly desired
- Motivated, self-starter who likes challenging work.
- Possesses strong problem solving skills and team-oriented approach

- Following skills are NICE TO HAVE:
- Automation Test experience
- Script language like shell, perl, tcl, python, etc.
- Working knowledge of Windows application software design and implementation (DLLs, APIs, COM, etc.) and the methods required to develop/debug such software
- Experience with high level languages such as Visual Basic, C/C++, or .NET.　Visual Basic .NET a plus
