Data Center Technician


JOB DESCRIPTION

Amazon is seeking a DCT Intern/DCT Trainee to support the Data Center Infrastructure Operations.　Ideal candidates will be a self-motivated, possess strong communications skills, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies, and phenomenal attention to detail.

Primary Job function included but not limited to the following:
• Manage all aspect of a mission critical spare parts pool for server and network equipment
• Effectively troubleshoot and repair servers and networks
• Server and networking equipment installation and removal
• Responsible for the RMA and repair process for all devices
• Support senior technicians in daily works and activities as directed
Position Qualifications:
All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment.

Required:
• Relevant educational qualification majoring in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or Electronic Engineering.
• Strong sense of analytical thinking and problem solving ability
• Understanding of basic computer/network concepts and terms
• Experience in Microsoft office applications including but not limited to Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel
• Available to work 5 days full time per week for at least 6 months or more duration.
• Good English written and read skills.

Preferred:
• Familiar with Linux operating system.
• Experience of networking setup and configuration.
• Experience of server operation system level development, familiar with server hardware
