ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT REQUIRED
Schwann in Beijing is looking for a young ambitious person to join their ever-expanding team. Command of both Chinese and English is essential. www.schwann.cn
Major responsibilities:
1.General Administration
Overall day-to-day tasks including receiving visitors, taking and forwarding phone calls, purchasing supplies and making phone calls to vendors and clients
2.Personal Assistant
Extra attention should be paid to the two Directors at the office. This may include urgent problem solving and coordination, translation and copywriting.
3.Research
When time is available, learn more about the industry by following online news, print newspapers and blogs, and use search engines to find answers to pertinent matter.
4.Translation
Help with translation from Chinese to English, and English to Chinese. This can be translation for emails and documents, but also phone calls and within meetings.
5.Human Resources
Ongoing maintenance/communication with staff, handling of staff errands e.g. visa applications, holiday planning and application, and general internal communication.
6.Website Update
Prepare texts for News, Events and Portfolio, and texts for general pages within the web site.
7.Documentation
Periodically keep records of office documents and confidential information, including maintenance of our internal database, usernames and passwords for servers and emails, office network setup and software licenses, etc.
